Happy Thanksgiving! A time to recognize and appreciate our simplest pleasures, family and friends. There are too many things that I am grateful for to list, that in itself is a blessing. Normally we have hundreds (not kidding) of people that come by my parents home throughout the day. My mother lives for days like this! She breaks out what we call the “party caldero”, or the “party pot”, this huge pot that takes over all 4 burners on the stove and makes arroz con gandules. This year, for one reason or another we are having a quiet Thanksgiving. Not that I am complaining at all! It is 11:18am, I have been up since 6am and have yet to get out of my pj’s 🙂 No makeup, hair in ponytail and glasses are on. Enjoy your day. xoxo
