Crown with a purpose.

I confess..I screamed when I saw this čÖé

People always ask me; why am I beauty queen?┬áThere are the obvious “fun” things, like attending fashion shows, meeting┬ácelebrities, and going to┬áred carpet events. I’m very aware though, that I’m in a unique position to use my title to bring my message to a larger audience. I challenged myself last year to do something more than just fill a pageant requirement, or feed my ego. I pushed myself to go that extra step in order to make a real difference, and contribution to society – what we “pageant girls” in the biz like to call, “a crown with a purpose”.

My career and passion have always been in health, so the transition to starting my own health and wellness company was the natural next step in my mission to improve the lives of others. I am here today, happy and healthy because of the choices I made, and also because people believed in me. It was the beginning of how I reinvented myself. Now it’s my turn to help others do the same.
I was featured in the newspaper El Diario last week. I hope more women (and men), challenge themselves to live healthier lives and seek the help they need to reach (and supersede) all their goals. Many thanks to Health Editor, Pedro Frisneda, for the great interview!
